Erika graduated with the class of 257 and continued her education in Baltimore, MD where she attended Notre Dame of Maryland University. Here, she majored in chemistry and minored in mathematics. For a year, she interned at Johns Hopkins University and fell in love with pharmacology.

 

She is now a 4th year Ph.D. Candidate in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York studying muscle stem cells.

Elizabeth graduated with the class of 252 and continued her studies at Temple University where she majored in Psychology and Neuroscience. Upon graduating, she had gainful employment at the University of Pennsylvania where she was exposed to translational biomedical research which guided her passion for medicine.

 

She is now a 4th year Medical Student at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, serving on the Admissions Committee. She is interested in a Surgical Career.

Michal Dyson graduated with the class of 257 and continued her studies with Rosemont College where she concentrated in English and Communications, while minoring in Studio Art. She continued at Rosemont and received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing.

 

She is currently a senior paralegal, working with an immigration law office. Additionally, she is a writer, having authored multiple poetry publications.

Marketing and Advertisement Specialist 

Princess graduated with the class of 258 and continued her studies at Villanova University where she received her bachelor's degree in Communications. During her undergraduate career, she was able to capitalize on internship opportunities ranging from technology to entertainment. During these experiential learning opportunities, she further developed her skills in marketing and advertising to understand how she could change representation of people of color in the media.

 

She has worked in this field for 3 years, but she also is very involved and has experience with filmmaking.

Wendy (Feinstein) Eisenberg graduated with the class of 231 and continued her studies at Drexel University where she received her bachelors of science degree in Graphic Design.

 

Her previous role as an Program Manager at Arcadia University is focused on study abroad opportunities for students. Wendy also worked with LaSalle University where she served numerous students, staff and faculty as an assistant manager of study abroad, international and multicultural education.

Kristen Deppenschmidt graduated with the class of 233 and continued her studies with Temple University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree teaching with a focus of special education. Following her undergraduate degree, Kristen earned her Master of Arts degree in Education from Cabrini University.


Kristen's passion for teaching is personal and infectious. Kirsten's teaching methods have encouraged special education students to work full time jobs after graduation. Not only does Kristen enjoy teaching her students, but her students also love being taught by her.

Latesha graduated with the class of 248 and continued her studies at Temple University where she received her Bachelors in Social Work in 2010 and Masters in Social Work in 2018. Before graduating, she was able to intern for a year with a company that would later offer her a position on their team as a Case Manager.

 

While at United Communities, over a span of 10 years she was promoted to senior director. Just recently was promoted again to Director for Operations.

 

Latesha is very excited to be a part of STM and help current GHS students with their nonprofit oriented career choices.

Disability and Mental Health Specialist

Naya Brown graduated with the class of 252 and continued her studies with Philadelphia University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a minor in Psychology in 2012. Following her undergraduate degree, Naya earned her Master of Science degree in Health Education from Arcadia University in 2018.


Since earning her higher education degrees, Naya has secured employment in various fields including public health, mental health, human services, and education. Her expertise has led to her current position as a Disabilities and Mental Health Specialist for the Community Development Institute Head Start.

Healthcare Insurance Specialist 

Kennay Deshields graduated with the class of 257 and continued her studies at Bowie State University where she received her bachelors degree in biology. Following her undergraduate degree, Kennay was accepted to University of Maryland to earn a masters degree in healthcare administration.

 

Kennay's love of biology transitioned into a love for public health care work. She was accepted as an intern through the Pathways program in her second year of graduate school. This opportunity led Kennay to securing employment focused in data analysis and closely working on appeal settlements with the State Medicaid Agency Initiative.

Retired Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs Manager

Margaret (Peggy) Beecham graduated with the class of 1966 class of 210. She later continued her education at Howard University where she received her bachelor's degree in zoology. She then received her masters from Bryn Mawr College in biochemistry.

 

After graduating, Peggy worked in the Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs side of pharmaceutical companies for 35+ years. She was able to retire in 2014.

\Sharaine Eldafrawy graduated with the class of 260 and continued her studies at Drexel University where she majored in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics. She interned within the consulting industry for two years and gained experience working as a technology consultant. 

 

She recently graduated from Drexel Unveirsity and will be starting her full time career as a Technology consultant at PwC. 

 

Sharaine is eager to mentor students by offering academic supoort.

Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager

Diane graduated with the class of 226 and continued her studies in Biology at LaSalle University where she received her bachelors degree. She pursued a co-op opportunity that was arranged through LaSalle where she gained her first experience with the pharmaceutical industry at McNeil Pharmaceuticals.  

 

Currently, she is a pharmaceutical quality assurance manager. She has been in the pharmaceutical  industry for 31 years, 18 of which she served in quality assurance.
